Def not one of my favourite songs, but great to see a band in action. An unexpected treat on a Jimny forum.
I particularly enjoyed the bass player being tazed into action. How many volts did you use?!
Six string too (I'm a four string monkey myself).
Rock on.

Yeah, my brain can only cope with 4 strings (and even then it has trouble).
Mostly rock and blues. Our lead kept trying to get us to be more structured, but the inevitable happened. Started off well and then descends into a full blown jamming session with the rest of us having a great time totally ignoring the frowning from lead. Our drummer was Jamaican and if it sounded like we might move into Reggae the Aussie would start swearing and threaten to walk off stage. I've never played Reggae in my life. It was happy days tho.
Haven't played since we were all evicted from Saudi two years ago (which we all considered an honour
). The Wooden Spoons are now flung across the world. UK, South Africa, Dubai, Denmark, Australia. Still, it was a hoot while it lasted and I'm under threat of a project in Qatar so may end up rejoining with lead and doing gigs with him in the hotel bars. I don't seem to have time in Blighty so haven't replaced the Greg Bennett (damn, I loved that Cobra) I sold in Riyadh.
I think we've managed to (temporarily) hijack the Jimny Forum.

It's good to have different topics up, somebody on here a couple of weeks ago said we should have more topics rather than just Jimny stuff, so that's why I posted up the vid!!!
We have a band that comes to our jam nights and they do blues stuff and they go off on tangents as well, they never play a full proper song, I like to hear all sorts of music, but I don't get some blues and jazz/blues, they can play 1 song for 15 minutes with 3 chords, the old 12 bar blues stuff and you can see everybody switching off watching, but I must admit, this band is the only blues that I hear, so it might just be them!!!!!!

Ha, ha. I get your point, but we couldn't stay on 3 chords if our lives depended on it. I don't as a matter of principle/courtesy/boredom.
No-one had ever switched off listening to us. They had no idea where we might head off to next and stayed transfixed through (morbid?) curiousity. Mind you, quite often we didn't know where we were heading next either. The power of a drummer and bassist conspiring to wind up the lead and others. I'd suddenly lob in a completely different riff, Frank would pick up on it and start a new tempo that led us on to bullying the band. I think it was Frank and I that drove the keyboard player to expand his chemical experiments. Plus, we had two excellent Lebanese female singers who could switch songs at the drop of a hat. Handy, when you're fronting the Wooden Spoons.
