tried that but you need the awning totally horizontal or you cant get the awning sides tight, its fine if you dont have the sides installed at the time

Roof rack brackets have been fabricated just lining them up and checking there the correct angle.
Hopefully they will be finished at lunch at work :)

Did you end up extending your diff breathers? I want to extend mine but I'm unsure what to put on the end of the hose to act as a breather. Oh and did you end up just using garden hose?

I got some marine fuel hose off a mate but have not fitted them yet. No idea what to put on the end yet

Look out for little breathers like these

File Attachment:

I found them in my local auto store labelled as oil breathers, I believe there meant to be for an air compressor but work a treat and screw straight into end of hose.

If your running a snorkel end the breathers at the top of your snorkel, all mine go into 1 pipe which runs upto the top of my snorkel ending in a hook shape so no water can get in.

Pointless having a snorkel if the breathers end in the engine bay ;)

Went to Salisbury plain scouting out some lanes using memory map borrowed from a guy at work for next weekend. Was a bit muddy but the Jimny did well :)

Do you have a link for that roof rack Adam? and are the new feet welded to the underside of it?

That looks a well tidy set up :-)
