Hi guys.... I want to put a netting (elastic type) up on my roof ling to keep small things safe an out of the way(phone iPad ect).. Any one done anything like this ???

Great idea but I am interested to see how you would hang it. From what I have seen of my roof lining it has trouble holding itself up.

Do it right - use Hammerite

Well it is a Jimny you know ;) mostly held together with hope ie I hope that doesn't fall off! :silly:

roof lining in the jimny is bonded to roof so it should be well stuck on there I removed 1 recently & was a pita to get it off

They must've used flour and water on mine then. :laugh: :laugh:

I've just thought, would Velcro hold well?? I have a few items I could put on the roof lining if it held. :unsure:

the japs do a glovebox type of thing which is held up by the grab handles and the mirror ,you can put maps phones ,glasses etc in
