Hello, I have found a metal boot liner for the back of a jimny on offroad armoury.com however it's nearly £100! Has anyone seen one cheaper anywhere?

Nope but for one sheet of alloy plate costs well over £100 then time to cut it bend t surply all the fixings i think its a good price or you could try making your own

I have a steel one came out the back of my blue truck heavy duty to say the least made of 3mm steel had been bent and shaped correctly god knows what it cost :sick:

Sorry if this seems expensive, but £20 of that goes to the VAT man, the price of the aluminiium, buying and running a CNC plasma machine and hydraulic brake press the cut and fold the part, + the labour/overheads involved and we're lucky if we make £20 out of each one...

Unless you want to go any buy or have the tools to manufacture one yourself then we consider it good value for money.

I think you would be lucky to make that , the one i made for a member was made with no profit or machine time costs and and wasnt much less than what you are selling them for

There is an eBay advert, but if you are viewing on your phone, or iPad it may not be visible

Basically a 8x4ft alloy chequer plate sheet for £50

I've just got a piece of ply with a lump of 3x2 screwed to the front. Looks crap but cost nothing :-)
