Can anybody out there help to make this pic the right size to replace my current avatar?
I am crap with computers and this is beyond my limited knowledge.

Here you go, it should work now. You can use something like Lunapic to resize your images, its pretty easy.

Thanks for that, I will have a go at changing it in a bit. If ever the was a phrase that sums up me and computers it is
"I know how to work it, not how it works"

Strangely I have changed my avatar in my profile settings, get a message that its changed and
saved to my profile. Small picture at the top right, log in/out bit is the new picture.
Main picture on the left when I post a reply is still the old one!

It's not just YOUR computer. ..I use a new Lenovo laptop, a Samsung tablet and android phone....All three are showing your old avatar, also show me offline whenever I'm on, even though I try to change it......

My status often is listed as "away" what ever that means, even when I am logged in.
