Jimny repairs was created by bob90
Hey I have recently just bought a jimny and it requires some TLC.
I have to replace the floor pan in the rear does anyone know where to get this?
The rear axle has broken parts from where the shock sits and where it mounts to the tailing arm. Can I just buy new brackets to weld on?
The front swivel hub seals need replaced and I am unsure on how to do this anyone got any info?
Any information is much appreciated
Thanks
Bob

Hi there, Jimnybits.com sells the rear floorpan complete or just the front or rear.
As regards the axle brackets....make some?
I hope your welding is up to snuff......here's an image of the plates I removed using my bare hands from a job I'm currently doing.
It's not a Jimny....it's a Shogun and the rear floor is rotten like a pear too!
The garage it's in is too small to take my welder so I've been supplied with the one he "welded" those plates on with....a 135A Clarke welder......it's actually a reasonable welder......it's just that his welding ain't worth a crap
