Use an impact driver if you have one powerful enough.

Make up a locking bar to hold the pulley as you undo the nut.

Use a socket on a long bar that sits against the chassis and turn over the engine with the starter momentarily to undo the nut.

Wind a bolt through one of the threaded holes in the pulley until it engages with the recess in the aluminium timing chain cover. This works OK if the bolt isn't too tight but you risk damaging the timing chain cover if you use too much force.

i pushed a big screwdriver through the pulley and against a block of wood onto the casting behind the pulley. this allowed me to give a fair bit of force without damaging the alloy casting. same procedure to tighten it back up in reverse.

The two holes in the pulley are threaded M8x1.25 and I reckon they are on 74mm centres (I'd have thought 75, but my measuring stick reckons 74)

the suzuki tool is a plate with a hole in that clamps ionto the front of the pulley.

I couldn't shift mine for rust, and ended up using a slitting wheel to slice off the bolt flange, then it came undone with fingers.

My Bottom pulley doesn't look nothing like that a bolt in the middle the main one then 5 little around it then a single tiny hole which I guess locks it in place to get timing correct

Oh you have a single cam engine with a broken timing belt.
Just undo the 5 bolts and take the outer of the pulley off, then the cover slips over what is left, and you can change the belt.

If they won't undo, stick it in 4th gear.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

YES to the timing/cambelt question and do you mean the fan belt and alternator as the starter is at the back of the engine?

It is your car and you can do what you want onit!!
In this case I would suggest that the time and effort it takes to remove it will be gained in the time and extra effort it will take with it in situ. The chances of damaging the core of the radiator are high and the sore knuckles will be testament to your decision. With the radiator out it is a lot easier as both belts have to come off and then re-tensioned and the pulley bolt will be tight and require a lot of torque to shift both on and off.l
