Hi

I need to get four new tyres on my stsndard steel wheels.
I was hoping to go 215/75/15 as the forum says they are the largest I can fit on standard ride height

I am running 1" spacers
Will they still fit ?

they will catch the front arches a bit, may need a bit of trimming to bumper, rear of front wheel arch trims and arch liners. more of a problem if you have mudflaps (which will need to come off). Rear was OK for me however with 215 BFG AT's (in the past!)

My front 215s (with a 2" lift) catch (just) even without spacers!

Remoulds will probably rub regardless of spacers. Normal tyres will rub with the spacers on but fine if you remove them :) On my current Jimny I've still got the mudflaps on without issues but on my previous one I had to remove them.

Would a 215/70/15 be a better choice with spacers ??

215/75/15 and no spacers is the best bet. :)
