Trying to work out how many theeth to mill on my speedo cog as as i have a 410 transfer case internet says jimny axle ratio is 3.416:1 any body know if this is correct ?

Axles ratios for my jimny are 4.09:1 (45/11 theeth) G13bb (m13a engine, the same relation)

with engine vvt 4.3:1 (43/10)

Depends on jimny year.manual Pre 05 are 3.4.... and auto 3.9 and after 05 are 4.5 i think if i remember right....maybe wrong on after 05 tho not 100%

Just ran the figures thru the calculator looks like only going to be out by 2 mph per 1000rpm of the engine in top gear so think its going to get 25 theeth same as the jimny transfer box going to have to be on the front prop as well with the handbrake disk on the back prop leaves no room :silly:

Manual jimny pre 2005 ratio is 3.909
Auto jimny pre 2005 ratio is 4.090

2005 on manual is 4.3
2005 on auto is 4.090

My jimny has a manual transmission (year 1999, g13bb engine)

I verify the I number of teeth when it installs the arb locker

What size tires ??? For 30/31 27 teeth is spot on
If your running standard size tires it would be 25 same as in the chain drive box
