Hi all
I rather like the idea on mounting some front spot lights to the front bumper or even to the roof bars. If any one has any pics of how the have done it and/or the make of the spot liights used i would be most grateful.

Thanks

Nobby

I used 4 cheap ring square spotlights £15 a pair iirc. I used a piece of pipe cut to fit between the roof bars, welded a flat plate on either end drilled into the roof bars and bolted it on. Then welded the metal brackets that come with the lights to the bar.

Not a great picture but this is how they fit

I put mind on the edge of the bonnet that way if you get them right you can swing them right down and light up the enigne bay as well, if the worst was to happen at night.

I haven't posted anything up on my spotlights yet (but will soon), but as they are DIY, LED and small enough, I have installed then in the front grills. No problem with air flow and the active cooling is an added bonus

Mine are bolted to a length of ali angle that i riveted to the back of the a bar. Mine are the cheap ring ones from 'frauds, they do the job at the moment, but i would like to upgrade ;-)
