does it clank just once?
Could be a whole host of things that are loose and moving under acceleration...

Check all the radius arms bolts are tight and that all the bushes are ok, that was what was causing the noise from my rear end under power...

Check for a worn UJ, make sure you do this by undoing the prop shaft completely at the diff end as sometimes the joint can fail in "stiff" mode meaning you cannot feel it just by wobbling the prop shaft.

UJ = Universal Joint

Joint or coupling in the end of the drive shaft that allows the shaft to 'bend' in any direction. It consists of a pair of hinges located close together, oriented at 90° to each other.

It sounds to me asthough your joint at the rear diff has worn.
Heres a smart animation showing you the joint in action (its the green bit ;) )
