Hi all

I want to upgrade the two speakers behind the two front seats but I cant get the trim off the front to figure out what size they are!

Could someone tell me what size they are? And how to get the bit of trim off?

Cheers

I think you'll find there are only the two front ones, however there is room to fit along with a little wiring, two more in the rear as in the 'How 2'

So hang on.... There are originally only two speakers fitted in the dash?

However there are space for two rear ones behind the seats behind the grille?

Those two 4" speakers in the front footwell can be replaced with 5" quality speakers, makes a big difference. When I did mine I put in a splitter and ran two x 1" ribbon tweeters up above the seatbelt anchorage point so that they are near ones' head. That way old bugga's like me get to hear everything nice and clear :)

1" ribbon tweeters

The rear speakers are removable and click into leads at the back. Amp is mounted on back of box and wiring is quick-remove too.

I have four 4" speakers in the standard holes(component system at the front), tweeters on the dash in the corners of the windshield and a 10" flat active subwoofer under the drivers seat.
