If anyone has made a snow plough for their Jimny on the super cheap, I'd be interested how you did it, and some pics on how it fits on. Just planning ahead to make sure it never snows again. :)

Anyone had a go with some wheel barrow wheels and plywood?

Add a couple more wheels and you could have one of these...

Goat,
I was inspired by Geordi's effort (link above) during the last snow but never got round to it. I was thinking a bit of large diameter 20-25 mm thick drainpipe and some angleiron/ box section. Still on the hunt for the pipe though.

I too saw Geordies plough but that looks professional and solid the sort of thing that costs a lot. Looks great though. I only need it for 800m of farm track so was thinking I might get away with something less pro. I like the idea of the drain pipe you can get some big diameter land drains but they are quite expensive as well. I need wheels on too as it's a rough track with potholes. Still think plywood and some wheel barrow wheels might be the way to go.

I have a few ideas too ... I was thinking of a section of the large yellow gas pipe or water pipe they put in the roads ... Cut into a "C" section with a jigsaw and, using some angled steel, create an angled piece, attach to the front of the jimny using some "D" shackles though the front towing eyes.

You could raise it off the floor using some small wheelbarrow wheels, and put a rubber strip across the bottom if you want to...

Im looking for a piece of Pipe too .. about 1.2 Meters width

Yes that's the plan, I don't think you'd need the rubber strip with the nylon pipe and possibly not even wheels.
