One aspect of Jimny ownership that many enjoy are the hobbies of Green Laning and off-roading. These are two separate activities. Green Laning (or more properly By-Ways) are public vehicle rights of way (in fact they are roads and all road rules apply such as licences, MOT, Insurance, Speed limits etc.). Off-road driving is where you drive on private land (with permission) or on designated sites (usually called "Pay and Play").

For non-UK locations the rules may be different.
