Front bumper off? was created by Jutwit
I want to take my front bumper off, but don't like the look with the gap left, and if don't want to spend 140 quid plus vat on a little piece one from kap, so anyone got any suggestions on what else I could do?

If you don't want to buy one why don't you simply make one from a piece of 4 inch plastic archive it will hold it's shape if gently heated with a heat gun then you could either screw it on with a couple of self tapping screws or use stiklaflex

cool I'll have to have a think about this
as you've probably guessed, I've been considering chopping it down, but when I saw the price of bumpers, thought I'd be just as well selling it and doing something else, I have no intention of ever fitting a front winch (may at some future date fit a rear winch - to pull me out of whatever I may have wondered into) :S
I really like the Xrox Bull Bar
£770 for the bumper and £328 del from Oz (£1098 total) :pinch:
then there's the KAP
Trim panel £150 + Alloy bash plate £22 + Carriage £19 = £191
but then it really needs finishing off like JerseyJimnys'
...... so I remain in a state of inertia
