For the last 15 months or so since owning my jimjam I've been sat on various booster seats & cushions to achieve 'elevation' in the 'Jimny'.
With no height adjustment I struggled to get a comfortable driving position.

Not any more, thanks to 'Helijohn' I had a mate cut me up some 2" box section.
After a coat of paint left to dry overnight I removed the driver seat & fitted it all today.

I'm well pleased so thanks John ..... ;)

Very nice. How does it effect comfort? My only niggle with the jimny is my knee rests on the window switches and gets really annoying after a while.

I'm 6' 2" so know what you mean, I got used to my knee touching.
But with this set-up it lifts & sets you back a couple of inches hth ......... ;)

That looks well good tadpole, I love it. And you have done yours a proud paint job..........I just threw on a quick whiff of black spray on mine. What I like is the combination of lift with rear adjustment as it gets my position to the pedal (auto) just right.

Did I say I added another ¾" of spacer on the back two; it tilts the seat forward which is amazingly a great improvement in comfort as well as giving more lift.

Don't the passengers look low down now.

Nice centre console BTW! B)

Do it right - use Hammerite
When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.
