ive been thinking about just hand painting mine gloss black.
As long as it is not rivetted on or just a popper fit I usually get some strong twine and see saw the twine behind it. Worst is when the motor has had a respray and you find a layer of paint missing when it is off. :blink:

Try a Hair Drier first, get it nice & warm should just peel off then clean up with meths/petrol, t-cut etc ......

Thanks, I was going to use heat especially now the weather is sh-one-t as I want it off without bending it in case I want to replace it (which never happens lol).
