Got really fed up with the rear washer not delivering water; just another one of those things that never worked since I got the motor a month ago and after ripping off the rear door card I could see the washer tubing was mostly blocked so after getting it cleaned out I thought I'll have a change. I expect it has been done before.

Spent far to long last night and this morning fitting a CB. Have mounted it in the dash facia where the clock and coin tray are normally (old style dash!)

Went well until I realised the suspiciously double din looking hole is a fraction smaller than double din - mounted in a bit of a blue peter way but is secure and out of the way so Im happy!

cool - what does the other end of the pipe connect to - does it just connect straight on pipe where one-way vale is?

How does pipe cope when wiper moving??

Tell tale leaking of Axle oil on rear N/S wheel ... suspected wheel bearing gone .. so half-shaft whipped out, ready to take to friendly local garage on Monday with new bearing and ABS collar to be fitted by them :)

Thanks.

I've had systems like this in front wipers.

The pipe connects in the door space to the one way valve.

I adjusted the little jets so one shoots to just above the end of the blade and the other to the other end. Gives a great set of jets.

The pipe has enough curve to accommodate the sweep of the wiper.

I put a grommet in the hole in the door and used a plentiful amount silicone seal too. I can't see any flexing where the pipe goes through the door but I admit I am thinking of putting a plasticlamp at the spare wheel carrier just to make it 100% guaranteed stable.
