I would just go for blue print, there good quality and available from most motor factors. Pretty much anything will be up to the job on a Jimny.

I fitted Apec discs and EBC Ultimax pads to mine recently, they now have more tramlines than the old ones

I suspect it is the EBC pads*. I've never liked then to be honest, always been forced to use them on 'bikes, EBC discs seem to wear out in next to no time too.

There are plenty of cheap discs on eBay at the moment ;)

However,

I vaguely recall reading on here that there are two centre bore sizes for the discs on a Jimny, depending on the year, to do with the ring that locates alloy wheels, I think that the later ones are larger.

*As I got them from eBay, there is no reason to suppose they were actually made by EBC I suppose  ...

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Whatever the motor factors have listed will do. It's no sports car and drilled or grooved discs just get their holes or grooves filled with mud and become no better than standard. Pads wear out in mud so quick it's not worth paying for posh ones!
