What are your steelies and what size tyres do you have on mate? Torn between some black 15x7 with off set -30 and same as yours with no offset just ET0 as can't find white ones with a minus offset that are 15x7 other than 15x8, cheers

Hi, the wheels are Tuff Torque ET0 and the tyres are Cooper Discoverer ATS which are on for the summer, I'll be putting some Insa's on the original alloys for winter I think.

Kingpins, kingpin bearings, shaft oil seals, hub seals changed both sides and fitted new slider, bolts and boots to the nearside caliper. Treated the knuckles and tie bars to a coat of hammerite while they were off too. The steering wobble is much improved but still present a little bit in the same speed range but I'm going to get the front to wheels checked for balancing just to rule that out as they are big old heavy wheels and I can't be 100% certain 4x4 tyres balanced them correctly.

Next job is to get the diff filler plug off so I can change the diff oil, decided after a chisel and centre punch didn't work to order a specific 10mm wrench for the job so fingers crossed that does the trick.

Forgot to say sprayed some plastidip on the freewheel hubs to smarten them up a bit :) and thanks to Dave @ Bits4Vits I now have nice new allen bolts holding them on.

What does plastidip do? Has that got rid of rust etc from hubs?

Its a rubberised spray paint, you literally can peel it off and spray it a different colour if you don't like it.

Have you bought new brake discs and hubs or is that the plastidip?

This weekend I changed the front dif oil and fitted a new filler and drain plug and then fitted 2 Saris bike fork mounts to the roof rack.

After fitting the dog guard I was left with a spare grab handle which came in handy as a door handle on the shed I've just fiished building...
