Fitted my roof spot light bar on the jimny at the weekend so here are some photos.
The bar is a mont blanc which came off my old fiat punto 5 door, and the spot light are ring from halfords.

Remove the plastic strip on the roof and the plastic cover on the inside and drill an 8mm hole in middle of the gutter slot, you can use an 8mm unistrut spring nut in the gutter slot.

Do not over tighten the nut and bolt has the roof as a double skin.

Use silicone sealant to seal the nuts and bolts.

You need to earth the spotlight to the car body.

Yes l know what you mean  but l had the roof rack so decided to have a go  and if it didn't work, l only had to filling two holes in the gutter slot.:)
All wired up and working.

Ok roof light working with my main beam,85 trigger go from the relay to the ACC on the switch, power on the switch go to the red wire on the back of the headlight plug, l'm happy now at last.
I wired it up the same as in this relay picture, and just add a live from the relay fuse to the ground on the switch, to make the switch light up.

There does seem to be a lot of Jimnys in High Wycombe - most of 'em shorter than ours......

I have nearly as much lift as you -1.5 " spring and 2 " body spacers and bigger wheels.

Be interesting to park up next to you, or better still, either side of a "normal" Jimny....

Both snaps taken on the same day, day after fitting the body lift.

My rear drivers side shock is shot, and if I'm going to replace it, I might try for a 3"inch lift kit (springs and shocks) as I presume the rest will break soon - once Jimnybits gets more stock.

Keep up the updates.......

Try Martin he has the 3" lift and it's in stock, and if you ring him you can go and pick it up from him in Woodley near Reading.
www.bigjimny.com/store/index.php/bigjimn...g-lift-kt/p_160.html

With the Jimnybits lift you pay £280+ VAT+PP so it work out about the same price, and with big jimny you get rough country shocks.
