Just showing how close it is to the steering bar/rod.
Yes, opposite side On the metal pipe hole thingy on the frame. Would be easier if I could flip the mount, but won't be able to use the other plate that it screws in with cause of some mount thingy on the frame.

I managed to mount it anyways but not like it's supposed to. Works for me now mounted at an angle and inbetween the frame brackets more forward, but does not look good.
Couldn't find the pictures of it on my phone right now, but i have sent the pictures to Jimnybits.
Not so easy to take good pictures of it as it is mounted now..

So the damper is ok at that angle? Will have to try that then I thought about mounting it further forward on the frame, but was afraid that I would bend the damper arm at that angle.

Wheels not straight on this picture. Works fine.Iaitoo wrote:

edit: have not tried it offroad without the stabilizer but works fine as is with 2" trailmaster lift.
edit2: Beware that the supplier probably will not recommend to use it like it's not meant to.
Not sure i would recommend it either as i will not take any repsonsibility for any malfunction due to this.
Could possibly be a problem if it comes loose and hinders the steering when driving.
But as i said, it has worked fine for me..
I got the damper mounted with the bracket to the frame, measured out the center position for the damper, got the wheels straight and mounted other damper bracket to the steering link bar. checked for full movement both ways and for any problems when flexing.
