2000 Jimny has a problem with the indicators.
Indicators work fine in both directions as does hazard function.
When the indicator lever is in the off position the relay buzzes continually and when moving the lever slightly theres a burning smell from the switch! I suspect a short in the switch somewhere - anyone got any ideas other than replacing the switch ie. is it serviceable? If replacement needed where am I going to find one for a 2000 model RHD.
thanks

So I found a replacement switch from a second hand parts place. Plugged it in to the harness and tried it out before disassembling the steering wheel and all good.
The replacement process was straight forward - disable airbags, pull everything apart and put back together. Just had to go to the store and get a steering wheel puller - unlikely to use that again but it wasn't expensive.
Daughter's Jimny is back on the road.
