'How to' with a pre-wired horn relay was created by helijohn
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI am a bit puzzled how this works with regard to the bit that says "The original car horn regardless of positive or negative" if the existing horn has only one spade connector.
As far as I am concerned the 'switching' side of the relay needs a power and an earth (via a horn button which controls that).
If the lead at the existing horn is a hot lead which earths out through the horn then surely the relay 'switching' part needs earthing. In other words if I disconnect the wire from the existing horn and plug it into one of the bits I am puzzled about surely nothing will happen.

I think what they mean is that if it is a switched positive then wire the neg to chassis ground and energise with the positive and vice versa for neg switched.....it will work either way.

Yeah. If the horn press supplies +ve then one of the two leads has to go to earth.
