Hey guys so over recently bought a new jimny and while checking it over after owning it for a few months I've noticed the front disk is half getting rust, kind like the bottom half of the pad isn't touching during braking, also when spinning the front wheel while raised in the air you can hear them slightly skimming/catching the rotar..any ideas?

Looks to be a grey area.....all over the image!
If you can get the rust off try some new pads.....not saying to put sandpaper between the new pad and disc to remove the rust as you'd need to remember to remove it before hitting the highway......discs are pretty cheap as it happens....make sure the calliper slides freely.

I don't think I'd even fit plane paper between the pad and disk the gap is that tight, I was thinking it could be seized guid pin or not %100 functional ones at least, I'm not that hands on when it comes to brakes it the only thing I don't tend to tinker with myself as if you bugger it up it can be dangerous
As for the image I have. O idea why it's dooing that, I've tried editing and re-uploading but it's the same

Try using Photobucket or similar, it sizes them correctly for posting...

If your life is on it then...
spend the money!
buy yourself new discs, pads and a refurb kit for the calipers (bigjimny store/martin aka mlines). brakes, like you say, are essential items. dont go thinking the average mechanic is any better than yourself either. You have identified that the discs are warped (meaning new needed - common jimny problem, you know enough to tell that), pads are stuffed, calipers are siezed somewhere along the line and need attention.
The rest of it is just pissing about with grease, seals, spanners and ratchets. you dont need to bleed the brakes or mess about with fluids doing this job keep the discs clean (brake cleaner), copper grease on the pad back side to stop squeal and away you go.
check the disc centre bore size before you go for/order parts as there are 2 very similar sizes on jims.
