Hello, I introduce myself, I am from Chile and I have a Suzuki JImny 2011, it has been mine for over 140,000 Km, owner owner.

Repairing a Jimny from a friend, I have been naughty since I could not solve the problem, not connect the traction. The jimny of my friend is year 2007, with buttons on traction, the traction system is different to my jimny 2011 since it brings another control module and this same does not have the diagnostic mode (as it has my Jimny 2011), In which one presses the buttons in a certain way to see the DTC fault codes.

I was 3 hours trying to find the problem and it was not possible, at 2wd-4wd, the actuator advances towards 4wd, but immediately returns it to 2wd.

I mention that one of the 2 vulvos of the transfer are bad, but I have tried closing the circuits manually in the largest possible ways (simulating what has to happen), and it is not possible to find the problem.

In addition, the main connector of the actuator is damaged, and sometimes this has caused problems to connect it and disconnect it since it does not make the contact well, I notice altiro as both lights (4wd and 4l) blink together.

What if, testing and testing, I have not found that in any of the vacuum valves comes voltage, in the whole process (turn on the jeep, push buttons, try again), there is never any current to the solenoid valves.

I have tested the actuator and it works without any problem, I have checked the continuity of the actuator pins, according to their position and these are in corrdinación according to the position of the transfer.

1) It goes from 2wd to 4wd, it is returned to 2wd in less than 5 seconds.
2) The actuator works well, the pins have continuity with each other depending on the position of the actuator and the information in the workshop manual. (It is right)
3) When pressing 4L (being 2wd) SOUNDS PUSHED, the clutch is tightened or not tightened, also check the clutch switch and this is good.
4) The cubes WERE CONNECTED and never unlocked, nor during the diagnosis, were never disconnected. (A vacuum valve has never been operated in the entire diagnostic process.)
5) I have not individually tested the electrovalves, since I have not found it necessary yet.

I just have to know, what can be happening that the control module returns it to 2wd without first turning on the solenoid valve?

Does the vacuum switch work as a switch? Could you try manually closing the circuit?

Could someone give me the diagram of the operation of the system of this model? (Note that it is not the same as my JImny 2011), attached photo control module, is totally different from my jeep, and the system is also different.

In this model, one only has to press the button quickly and it is activated, in the other model it is necessary to hold it pressed for more than 1 second and it also has the DTC diagnostic system.

Could someone help me get the diagram? What else could I check ??

regards, Very thanks.

I have not yet been able to find the workshop manual for this particular model.

I only find the manual of the lever and of mine that is with buttons (but it is another system different from the one of 2007), is 4wd another module.

Este es del modelo que tiene palanca, si tuviera esto mismo pero del Jimny del problema seria lo mejor.

This is Jimny witch lever controler, not computer, The button system, there are two types of 4WD modules, one use 1 conector, and other use two conectors.
