No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHi all, new to the forum.
I am looking for a Jimny for my runaround vehicle.
I live in the country with poor roads. Perhaps a bit of greenlaning in the near future,
How about this one?
Minus the winch,at £2000
be a good buy if it was not rotten?
regards Mike

Wouldn't worry about the winch, its from a quad bike.

It's really best to have a look to be honest. Rot can affect these quite severely. The few boy racer "mods" are not pretty.

If you can see it then do so , do not bid blind.

Lift the carpets and have a close look for rot. Also look around the hood frames for rot as these are expensive, particularly across the windscreen top

And check on which version of the engine it has

That's a VERY high asking price for an average looking Jimny with some hideous modifications. I'd steer well clear.

Anyone seen a good buy they can point me too
I have offered £1500 pending inspection without the bull attatched.
Is this a good price? Is thw snorkel a naff gimmick or worth having.
If taken off, will it leave a hole. Probably a dumb last question

Is that little winch just bolted to the chrome A bar? That's a pretty nasty modification!

I would look for a completely stock Jimny, and carry out the modifications yourself. At least you know then that all the work is correct and not a bodged job.

I would go and look at it
seems a little strange how much he's dropped the price
just be careful as with these jimny's they all look good
until you remove outer trim/bumpers

It could be a good buy but my concern on this one is that the owner has played with it by doing these mods and he clearly doesn't have a clue. So what has he messed up that you're going to find and have to put right?
