yes the cast alloy brackets do corrode away
as for seals/bearings in transfer box never opened one up
but i did sell a good one for £25 so you could just buy a used one
from around £30 upwards

Many thanks, would you know what grade oil goes in a Jimny transfer box?

No, don't buy the Suzuki ones to replace the broken one, get a heavy-duty one. The Suzuki ones are made of chocolate!

Ive gone for the heavy duty yellow ones, not happy though, waiting nearly two weeks and not delivered, been told they have and I should have tracking details, no tracking details given, according to the postage details they weren't tracked anyway it was 2nd class Royal Mail.
In the mean time my works vehicle is off the road!!!!

It's no good now I know Jimny Bits, the Big Jimny Shop and Jimny Bob eBay shop are the main reputable retailers of Jimny parts and modification parts. You can get most bits like this from one of them without these hassles and they are all on this forum.

I assume you are in the UK? Under the distance selling laws the supplier is responsible until delivered so no matter how they posted them it's up to them to refund or replace. Tracking protects the supplier by proving delivery, if they didn't track then its their loss not yours.
