Hi all. Would shark fin ariel things that come on the likes of bmw look wierd as covers for the studs left after removing the roof rails?

the one i fitted to a car had a full steel ground plane base
just cut the studs off maybe

I am not sure if I actually want to permanently delete the option especially in light of Daves Czech Republic? roof basket so cutting is out. I had also thought about discreet black nut covers, but that's a bit boring hence something streamlined and sleek and totally at odds with the Jimny.

How far apart are the screws?
