What spark plugs to use please? was created by Rothers
Hi

Could anyone tell me what is the alternative spark plug to use (make and model) for my 2005 1.3vvt Jimny please?

I am changing them and thought I would see if there is a cheaper alternative to the Iridium ones currently fitted which are very expensive.

Thanks in advance.

Rothers.

I stock both in the store.

The main difference is that Suzuki recommend changing the traditional spark plugs every 36 months and the Iridium every 48 months. I also came across a car that refused to run on the traditional plugs but that may have been some other issue

As you say, quite a difference from £11 per set to £16 EACH

If you are wanting the best economy and performance such as it is from a Jimny then the only real choice is the iridium plugs. I have tried both in mine and it is definitely nicer with the proper iridium ones.
