Just had a nice afternoon out. Took a few photos and thought I would share them. :)
Just up the A28 from home, Great Dixter House and gardens. I have driven past loads of times
but never stopped before. :)

Its the mild climate down on the south coast. A lot of the spring flowers are on the way out already.
We have had Daff's out since Jan and the Bluebells are out already. Its a bit of a pain if you like gardening
as we have only had one proper day of rain in the last month and the ground is like concrete. :)

Very nice!

I think around 40 truck loads to clear the garden to build a nice workshop, and you're done B)

Being an island we get our fair share but the north and west get the most as it blows in off the Atlantic.
I live on the coast in the south east so escape most of it. We are only about 50km from mainland Europe,
If we get southerly winds for a few days it brings the warm air from the south of France/Spain. :)

Here in Cowangie, which is 10 mins North of the Big Desert and 15 mins South of the Murray Sunset National Park, we get 8" of rain a year. So far, we had 10mm (Less than 1/2") on 6th February and not a drop since. Photos of rain appreciated. :woohoo:

It's nice when we can get to use a car for pleasure. Nice one.
