We have had Daff's out since Jan and the Bluebells are out already. Its a bit of a pain if you like gardening
as we have only had one proper day of rain in the last month and the ground is like concrete.

I think around 40 truck loads to clear the garden to build a nice workshop, and you're done

No need. The oast house and barn in the grounds was about 150' x 40'

Being an island we get our fair share but the north and west get the most as it blows in off the Atlantic.
I live on the coast in the south east so escape most of it. We are only about 50km from mainland Europe,
If we get southerly winds for a few days it brings the warm air from the south of France/Spain.
