However, from these there are a few cars that made a part of my body twitch in a way cars are not supposed to. They were:

This old truck really got my juices going...

Oh yeah, the Lotus Sunbeam!

If I had been about in the 70's I'd have wanted one of those over a Golf Gti! What was wrong with people? Rear wheel drive twin cam Sir? Oh no I'll have a 1.6 front wheel drive thank you very much! Weird!

I would sacrifice my left bollock for a good mk1 escort, for a bollock it would need to be 2 door of course.

I do like that, I've always thought that a Hawk would make a good British Hot Rod. yellow is probably the colour that I would have chosen too :cheer: :cheer:

It's very clear that Jimmy-drivers are car-crazy...

These "old" cars are a bit like the Jimny, you can (could) do a lot of work yourself, not too much electronics or special tools needed, and there are a lot of Jimny's that get a rebuild !!! ;)

Nice simple cars that guarantee you lot's of fun (but also lots of sweat, cursing, smashed fingers, backs that hurting like hell), that's what you sign for on owning a Classic Car or a Jimny !

Love the "angry eyes" in the front of the air intake ! B)

Good to know about the Battlesbridge Classic Car Show. I too have to organize the trade show for the promotion of my signs and vehicle wraps business. We have just started the shop in Minnesota and to gain new customers we are planning to host 3-4 trade shows in this month.
