NOTE: This is for members and their private sales/wants.
There are rules that suppliers have to follow (and many of you do follow the rules). However there have been a number of instances recently where "suppliers" have broken the rules.

Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.

Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

Just an update/clarification on the rules.

All members of this forum are permitted to post vehicles and items for sale in this section.

BigJimny takes no responsibility for the items offered or the purchase transaction.

Commercial sales are ONLY permitted as part of a response to a member posting a Wanted posting or a Question on a product. i.e this means Commercial people cannot start a thread, they can only respond to a thread started by a member

In addition, Commercial posters are not permitted to put down other suppliers products. You can state the advantages of your product i.e "made of hardened steel" but you cannot say "supplier X's version is made of plasticine"

My thanks go to the number of commercial providers who inhabit this forum and have respected these rules.
