Small test run as the rear axle, exhaust, tank and rear brakes (again) had to be tested. When grinding the rear axle I cut the brake line so had to change that. Still too much air in the brake lines, most likely up front.
And still some strange noises to investigate. I am thinking maybe something got too much play. steering box, rod ends, king pin bearings dunno.
Got all those in stock so no too worried.  Not ready for the MOT quite yet. But getting closer.

You wanted to know where to keep it when you're done and the obvious answer is in the garage ready for lazy summer afternoons with the top down.

I have a question. You have 235s and a 17pc reduction set. So you have an overall reduction of around 7pc. I know that the manual and automatic are different, around 500 rpm lower in the automatic at 70, and you can't make a direct comparison but how do you find the overall drivability especially in high range?

Wrong thread :)
But the other Jimny is ok as a daily but a little high revs for the highway. It is fast up to 90 kmt but 3500 ish rpm in 90 - 100kmt. Haven't written it up so not sure if i got the figures right.
But for me that is ok. It is a 5 hour drive from Here to find a road with 110 kmt speed limit.

Also if I use the money I get for the 410 here to buy brettakantar (iceland flares) I might get some 30 or 31" tires. Then it might be ok.

Just got this sudden urge to show my SJ from 15 years back, sorry if I allready did.
40(or 50mm bought used) OME lift springs, Volvo or Shogun or Corsa shocks (do not repeat that!) , 2" home made Body lift, home made flat belly bash plate, 8" wheels 325-65-15 BFG MT, cut out 3" of the fenders, bushwacker flares. many different G13 engines with various carbs, lastly a '92 engine still got it. Home made 4,16 :1 transfer gears. "Opel" Recaro seats.
Did the rust in the fenders, did the sills, but got kids so did not get around to do the body mount rust so got scrapped as it had too many none-approved mods. Ripped for parts, got most of it still.
