Very quick work there too, well done indeed.

Love the trailerboard for rear lights

Have a look on this link for some good quality lights: www.carbuilder.com/uk/lighting

and have a look at these for rear wheel arches:

If i where to fit these type i would cut it in half and leave the tyres exposed from the rear
And put other one in shed to make replacements if one gets damaged :)

Re:Top lights / bottom lights

Category: Jimny Chat

Yes you should have 2 reverse lights up top and 1 fog
Also you can modify upper cluster
I have brake lights where the fog is and yellow bulbs in the indicators where reverse should be
reverse, fog and number plate now or rear door
No rear bumper

Separating Jimny body from frame

Category: Jimny Technical

The bolts behind fuel filler flap just snapped off when i tried to remove
that's why on my current jimny i removed the hose clip.
Has i was only doing a body lift. 1 high lift farm jack was used
Lifted the rear first got around 6" clearance at back body mounts
Then after dropping in the 4 body blocks 2 @ rear 2 @ front seat belt mounts
i dropped the jack and moved to the front
Front lifted to around 5 to 6 inch under head lights

Rear hazard/fog lights

I run these from a separate switch

Not good for reversing because of glare/reflection off window
You can over come this by making a surround that fits flush to the glass

I only use them as work lights as the ring reverse light on back door works from gear box

Relocating the rear lights! How to guide

Category: Jimny Technical

yakuza wrote: On my 2005 car there is only blinkers and fog in the bumper.
Should be easy to relocate the blinkers to the upper reverse, make new reverse light(s) and just forget about the fog/highway light.
Rear fog light missing is not a MOT fail in Norway if it is completely removed. If it is there it must work though.

Yes would be possible just need to fit yellow T20 bulbs
just check your wire colours against the ones i posted
if wire colours match then all information is here ;)

i got myself a set of 7" x 1" front fogs to do the same
also got some soft rubber mat to cut to shape
to go around the lights upto the rear glass
to make a seal to stop glare
so you can see through the rear window easily ;)
