Eaglesham Moor - not far from East Kilbride in Scotland. It's a bit cold but not too bad - probably around 0degC.

I got to try out 4 wheel drive for the first time in my way to work this morning.

The fogged up windows, is that also pretty normal on the new Jimny?

I've not noticed an issue - clears pretty quickly with the aircon and blowers on. Probably just a bit misted up in that photo from snow getting in when I opened the door.

Hopefully you have the cockpit air selected to "Fresh" and not "Recirculate" - mine fogs in no time if that isn't selected to fresh.

I trust Suzuki Jimny's don't come from the factory with water leaks built in?

The door seals are not as good as the old one. So if you do any wading, you better keep moving.

Based on the test drive one we had, yes.

We had it for two hours and had a play with the aircon etc but still had misting around the edges until we cracked open the drivers window (so pretty much standard for a Jimny!).It was not on "re-circulate", but it was a rainy day and we had wet coats on.

The top spec model does have the one button front demist feature though, which is handy.

Thanks. I have this "issue" on my current Jimny. Especially in winter. It's enough that I think about taking a shower after the drive, wham foggy. My solution to that issue was getting a chemical dehumidifier (those stand alone little boxes, with pellets in a bag inside), that are common on sailing boats. It works pretty well. And the water doesn't evaporate because of the fancy chemical in the bag. Didn't think of that the first time I poured it out....

I have a 'bandolier' of eight bags of silica-gel - each bag is about half the size of a bag of sugar. (they're used when we 'bag-up' aircraft engines for transportation, but many of the used bandoliers get chucked out), They will re-cycle and you can satisfactorily dry them out on a radiator or oven on low its lowest setting.
I drape mine across the top of the dashboard, and it works very well.
Wifey doesn't like me draping it over the radiators in the house though

Rear wheel centre caps fitted - finishes the wheels off nicely.
