Thank you. The colours should work well together.

I cleaned up the spare wheel bracket and re-sprayed it matt black so that'll look better too.

Replacing the slide pins has reduced the wobble to almost nothing, so binding brakes must have been playing a part.

As you're no doubt discovering the front end needs to be well maintained to keep the steering wheel from wobbling, the key being how much you can tolerate before it irritates you into fixing it again.

They do seem very sensitive. Easy enough to sort out too, which is nice.

Wheels and tyres are on. One of the wheels has a bit of deflection in it - noticed when I was balancing them. I have another pal who straightens wheels, I took it to him and he suggested I leave as it and have it as the spare since it is not too bad.

Will take a bit of getting used too, they look so narrow compared to the big off roads that were on there. Driveability is MUCH improved - acceleration, cornering, braking, ride is smoother and softer, and the tyres are quiet. Takes a lot less throttle to keep it at constant speed so economy should also come back.

Trailmaster suspension will be here this week, fit that, a quick coolant flush and that should be the bulk of the fettling done.

I'll upload a few more pics when the suspension is being fitted, and after I give Wee Jimmy a good wash and clean.

Big box arrived from Trailmaster / Maas today. Just been looking through it. Looks really good kit.

Interestingly the shocks are a similar colour to my wheels.

Excited to be fitting it tomorrow.
