On the MODS side of things.
I started a mock up of a new Rear Storage setup.
The idea is to have easier access to my fridge while out and about and have a flat floor with storage underneath for general everyday stuff.
Behind the seats there is this so far
and installed this above the glove box.
hooked up to constant 12V from the AUX battery.
Then I got sick of my ipad setup so went a step further and dash mounted a Google Nexus 7" Tablet.
I purchased a Google Nexus 7 LTE tablet off eBay with a cracked screen and replaced it.
I used an old head unit with rear AUX RCA input turns out it fit far enough back that I had enough room to mount the tablet.
Since I have a spare facia I started hacking this one up.
I used Timurs kernel which has some cool features like deep sleep when tablet power is disconnected.
For charging using a USB OTG cable which plugs into the tablet then has a Male and Female USB port Y connector. (Allows USB devices to be connected while charging the device.
Head unit has a Ground Loop Isolator and Bluetooth Module inside the dash.
First photo is of my USB extension routed.
I used a piece of Perspex to hold the tablet in place and glued some foam either side so it fit snug.
Head unit etc inside the dash, head unit starts straight back to previous state, so boots straight to previous volume and source input.
Couple pics of the final install.

Also started a new rear setup for like the 4th time.
Happy with this one even thou it's not yet finished. Includes a fridge slide with slide out table.
Weekend before last we had our First Ever Tasmanian Suzuki (Taszooks) meetup. - You can find us on facebook at www.facebook.com/TasZooks
Which has been dubbed the 2016 Suzuki Jamboree.
We tackled the magnet mine track near Warratah for the day, was an excellent trip.

Very impressive set-up. I especially like what you've done with the electronics in the fascia / passnger area, might nick one or two of your ideas in future...

Great thread!
Jimny ute with demount is my next project....once I finish the current project
If I have a big lotto win I'll be down to visit with it!
Flinders, Simpson desert, Fraser island, Old telegraph trail, 1.8l Liana engines etc....all reasons I hate you guys! (just kidding)
Keep posting vids online of these great venues for the vicarious overseas envy merchants
