M18 is starting to be hard to find here and the price has doubled. The 1.8 Liana hasn't been available new since 2008 so they are also hard to find with low kms now

That's not good. When I still had my bigjim I was going for the izusu conversion as per DaveCC. If I was going down that route now with a lot newer Jim like a VVT. Id be very tempted to import.

Camping season is upon us :D








Apparently noy all Jimny alternators are created equal, VVT alt on left - Earlier Jimny on right. Both fit the same but output seems to be lower on the smaller one





Finally got all my lights working again, Ebay LED spot lights are awesome value
