Sorry but no photos of my trip, postponed due to illness.

Meanwhile I've had time to play with the Jimny

New work bench

Some bling

Plumbing aisle loves me.
Added some extra breath to the air box to overcome the 1.8s need for more oxygen, definitely made an improvement.
I have a cap to go on the end

It's been a while since my last update here, 1.8L is running great and the level of power is perfect. I definitely need more grip in the clutch when I'm pushing it through the soft sand, especially when the camper is on the back.

Some pics from the weekend.

Mmmm nothing like lashings of salt to end the life of a LandCruiser, guy just dove straight in without checking, was a really fast current and swell rolling through.

Some updates

Pick up a complete, low km, front axle assembly disk to disk including callipers etc plus sway bar a fee weeks ago, thought I'd make it look pretty before I chuck it underneath.

Giving her a 140,000 km facelift, here's the rough plan

First step is the grill

I don't have any info on the grill. It was old stock and I think it was the only one they'd ever stocked. It was originally chrome which gave it a Hummer look :(

It simply adheres with double sided tape
