managed to crack the gear knob off (mole grips on shaft) wrench on gear knob - so ordered a gear stick extension from Utah (USA) for £11.82 delivered
M12 x 1.25mm fine thread x 3 inch (75mm)
ordered 02/07 - arrived 9/07 - pretty good
tried the original gear knob on .... wouldn't fit as the non-threaded portion was to wide to allow entry to reach the internal thread of the knob .... could have drilled it out ...but fancied a change so contacted Rob (Kirkynut) as recalled he had fitted a 5 ball and he driected me to retrogearknob.com
for £7.89 delivered (thanks Mate)
loving it

Great stuff. Now do you think that is the last?

new fronts and spare to match (sort of) the existing rears
now all -30 offset, have junkes the spacers, but new rims are black and slightly stepped as opposed to rears which are grey and less stepped - but love them all the same
but now can't get the cover back on as the lock nut won't reach the thread

Do you think you will "see" the difference every day?
