Going back to rear wipers I think mine has always just done constant or off. Not used it much to be honest though as I gave the zuki sun shades in the back which stop me seeing dirt on the rear screen so I don't feel the need to wipe it.

update on my spacer and shock relocation lift:

Just had the OME 40mm lift kit fitted to my 2007 jimny. First impressions are that
ride has improved, but if I'm honest it feels overall a little 'rolly polly'. It's not as jittery over bumps, but it's lost it's 'go-kart' feel that it had with the lower suspension.

totally agree ....... steering feels a little "barge-like" you get used to it, but think I'll fit a steering damper and see if it helps.

well today I went to ATS  :S :(

and had my front wheels tracked

B) used an idiot proof wireless system and :woohoo: £30 and well pleased
could feel the difference straight away, the barge like slop has gone and full lock left turns no longer feels like I'm driving a clowns car at the circus :P

was dubious about using ATS but it really is an idiot proof system

well pleased with the result for £30, much better value than Teeside lass (for the week) :side:

fitting my new (from Supergaz) towbar

looks much better with the rear plastic bumper removed

first problem - custom S/S powerflow exhaust in the way

bit of improvisation needed

second problem - pushing, shoving, huffing, bashing and bending and the nudge bars back on

now to order this

and this

Is that the tow bar mount you have chopped a piece from for the exhaust?

yeh, it's this bracket we had to chop

looks a bit drastic, but plenty of metal left to keep it strong, it's 5mm thick plate, have you seen how strong the standard Jimny tow points are

cheers Tadpole, your's should be a doddle to fit with a standard back box

;)

I'm just thinking the MOT man may have an issue with two thirds of the bracket missing.

This bracket provides strength to stop the tow bar rotating, so is being pushed upwards into the chassis when a load is on the tow ball
