In search of a cabin air filter with activated carbon (charcoal)

I have (re)searched far and wide for an aftermarket cabin filter for a Jimny 3 (1998-2018) and have hardly found anything.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket cabin air filter for Jimnys which contains activated carbon (charcoal)?

Blue Print ADK82502 used to represent such a filter, but practice has shown that Blue Print tends to put widely different filters in the same packaging with the same part number (see here and here ), and my last three attempts at getting that part number resulted in stumbling upon plain paper filters inside.

I also found about easily available Corteco 80001447 which appears to be horrendeously expensive.

Apart from those two, I found about a few Russian and Japanese brands which appear to have only domestic market presence.

Nothing like you want appeared when I was fitting a filter to our Jimny, so may be difficult to source. Have you considered modifications to a standard filter using carbon filters from a cooker hood?
Pplenty about on eBay and cheap enough, in its simplest form just an extra layer attached to the standard filter maybe?
Good luckMike

Thank you for the info and the suggestion on a DIY solution. I would try that as a last resort.

I added all the charcoal filter models that I found into this wiki article:
www.bigjimny.com/mediawiki/index.php/Cabin_filter_change

Unfortunately most are local Italian, Russian and Japanese brands.

This is the current one.

It's the same both sides. It has airflow direction arrows printed on the side suggesting that there is some sort of difference but no difference is discernable

Thank you Martin for the picture of the Blue Print filter. It has changed drastically under the same part number.

Unfortunately the Mann filter in that Eurocraparts link is not compatible. It is a much larger filter for some other vehicle models.
