l've got clothes pegs holding my rear seat belts down when the seats are lowered.
I read somewhere that the Japanese Jimny has a clip to hold the rear seat belt against the rear panel when the rear seats are down.

A UK owner has successfully tried it.
" I do the same. Doesn't chip the paint because the seatbelt is between the clip and the paint."

If you are worried about scratching the paint, a small piece of Gorilla tape or similar fixed in the slot will protect it.

I'm not convinced the slot is made for the stowage of the buckle even though it works for it. I think the slot is just to allow free movement of the belt without rubbing?
