Differential gears was created by HUN
Are the ring and pinion gears of front and rear differentials interchangeable? Are they the same size? I'm wondering if a worn/damaged diff could be temporarily fixed with swapping those parts from the other diff.

No. The front diff is a high pinion design and the rear isn't.

Thanks Busta!

I was thinking about this option as they serve the same purpose with identical ratio in the same car. It would make sense to me keeping things simple...never mind. Has to be a good reason for this design.
