To make to the alarm sound, have you tried unlocking it manually with the key ie by not pressing the button.

Remember you then have to wait for the main Alarm to sound, 10 second I think?

You could always try leaving a large dog basket on the bonnet. That might convince the car to try another car. :woohoo:

Then again you could wire the car to the mains and then you would have-

I am always having the came problem on Facebook, its that self-completing typing that the computer does!

l wouldn't disconnect the alarm just because l didn't think it would do any good, as there's no advantage from disconnecting it.
You never know, it might one day make a thief run off when he smashes the side window.
