Jimny will crank over but not start. was created by JimnyCal
I've just replaced the thermostat housing on the car, topped up with Coolant. Car will crank over fine, will not start up for whatever reason. I've checked everything over, everything is connected fine and back in place as it was. It started up fine revs died down, went to give it gas engine stopped, now it won't start again. I'm at my wits end here.

Did you take the inlet manifold off to do the thermostat?

So as it was fine before you disturbed it, check your work on how well you put it back together. Is that where you are going with this Lambert.

There could be a big air leak?

Or a vacuum leak or missed loom connector. Alternatively if something impacted one of the sensors?
