Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.
SJ41x transfer case mounting kit supplier ? was created by Rabid Rhino
I found a link for 2 suppliers: DG tuning & RS manuf but I don't get a reply

Also changed my settings to www.ebay.co.uk instead of .com & found a kit by XSHOCKDAKAR but the tcase mount doesn't cradle it like the HM4X4 one which looks more like a Mighty Kong

I have the rock watt cradle on mine you could try him but he's become a little unreliable
yes you will need new propshafts
jimnybits do front and rear not cheap (but are nice and beefy)
you'll need an sj410 intermediary prop (gearbox to transfer)also 12mm spacer needed
It is possible to use standard jimny front prop (you may have to change or drill flange on transfer box)
sj 413 front prop on rear
Maybe the Russian can supply the needed propshafts........If he has intermediary props let me know i need a new one

I am using a prototype from Offroad Armory from around 2009.
Each kit will differ slightly in the props it will use. This will be due to the choice of the manufacturer around its precise positioning (although the transfer stick position somewhat limits this). Therefore you will see them require various combinations of propshafts, Usually SJ based (which introduces the issue of the flange bolt sizes.) Be aware that there are different lengths of SJ mini-prop as well to add to the confusion.
Given that specialists such as Bailey Morris are not particularly expensive for adjusting props (I have just had one shortened for £60 and one lengthened for £80 - both then balanced) you could probably get your Jimny ones adjusted rather than mess around trying to find the correct SJ ones. You would still have to look into the bolt patterns on the flanges to either get the correct ones or drill the flanges appropriately/

If yes how much play/slide or slip did you leave...........best guess in mm please

I had an SJ prop lengthened. We guessed at probably 10mm, basically enough for the prop to be fitted over the central flange nut on the transfer box flange end

I made my own (albeit for a standard transfer box) using a cardboard template and then cut it out of steel plate with just an angle grinder and a welder, see here - www.bigjimny.com/index.php/forum/18-buil...buggy-build?start=48

Went with the HM4X4 kit which was 400EURO but as of today, it went down to 327.87EURO. RESULT !!!!!
I cleared up the confusion (poor translation) that you don't need to buy a Samurai gearbox. (I couldn't understand why you would)
It looks the most complete kit out there as the mount resembles a Trail Tough's Mighty Kong II

Year T-Case Ratios High & Low Percentage over Mk1 Percentage over Mk2
1998-2005 1.32:1 & 2.145:1
2005-2018 1.00:1 & 2.002:1
SJ410 1.58:1 & 2.51:1 20% & 17% 58% & 25%
SJ413 1.41:1 & 2.27:1 7% & 6% 41% & 13%
Jimny Diff ratios
1998-2005 = 4.11:1
2005-2018 = 4.30:1 4.6% lower than Mk1
Tyre Sizes
Jimny 205/70/15 = 11.3 + 15 = 26.3"
2'' lift: 235/75/15 = 13.9 + 15 = 28.9" +10% over stock
3'' lift: 265/75/15 = 15.7 + 15 = 30.7" +17% over stock
So on a Mk1 Jimny
SJ/Samurai 413 will be pretty perfect for 29s
SJ/Samurai 413 & Mk2 Diffs will be pretty perfect for 30s

Nice if you're considering another gearing change to 4.16:1
you will need the final drive gear from the 413 box (i think)
If you go 6.5:1 you get a full set of new gears
