When you swap the 1.6 engine in the Jimny rocker cover gets swapped in as well. You need to use the Jimny cover as it has the oil dipstick in a different place to the 1.6 variants (because of the funny shaped oil pan on a Jimny).
If its not the spark plug gasket, it might be the rocker cover gasket. It has rubber sections where the head meets the cover. Easy thing to get misaligned.

It's not the same, it's integral with the rocker gasket on the M16 VVT. Probably identical if you use a blade to cut them out but actually works out cheaper with the whole gasket than the individual gaskets.Riccy wrote: That would be the same as well Martin
