Hello guys! Just registered to your forum because I need help.
The last couple of weeks I've been driving around and I noticed heat coming from the low feet area of the driver side only. It is coming out from the center towards my feet. When I reached that spot with my hand it was quite hot itself. I think that hot spot is part of the heating system of the car as I can see a vent there for the air blowing to the feet.
My Jimny is a '04, hard top model. Have you ever seen anything like it so I can understand what is wrong?

Welcome to the forum. Are the cables that control the heater vents correctly attached? There are little plastic levers on either side of the console that are very prone to being kicked.

Are you talking about 2 white plastic movable parts that are attached to some kind of wires?
Could you show me a photo of them so I can be sure?

Yes those are the ones. They should have a push pull wire attached that controls the heat output and direction.
